New Patient Examination & Records Appointment
Upon your first visit to our office, you will be greeted by our receptionist, who, in turn, will promptly inform the relevant member of the team that you are present for your appointment. You will then be seated in a comfortable room with all of the latest high-tech diagnostic equipment. This technology enables us to thoroughly evaluate and document your particular situation.
One of our highly-trained assistants will review your medical history, past dental history and help assess your dental needs. Please assist us by bringing a list of any medications and dosages that you may be taking, as well as contact information to your medical and past dental professionals. Dr. Compton will then perform a full prosthodontic examination. For more complex treatment, additional records such as study casts of your teeth, area specific radiographs as well as extraoral and intraoral digital photographs may be required. Please inform a member of the team if you are travelling so additional time can be reserved for this detailed records appointment on the same day.
Treatment here at our office is specifically customized for the patient. This visit will be a consultation appointment with one of our dental assistants and Dr. Compton. You will be given a thorough explanation and answers to questions that you may have. A treatment plan with different options will be provided to you along with an estimate of the costs of treatment. Our treatment coordinator will follow you through all your visits and coordinate your appointments as well as your financial payment schedules. She will also help to assist you with your insurance claims and any questions you may have once you have decided to pursue further treatment.
